Personal Platform Redesign

Problem
Turn a portfolio into a credible professional surface that works for search, social sharing, and serious conversations.
Constraints
Next.js app router, Firebase-backed content, dynamic blog data, and the need to update messaging without redeploying.
Decisions
Centralized metadata, server-rendered schema, crawlable OG images, RSS, sitemap hygiene, and admin-editable homepage SEO.
Result
A cleaner personal brand surface with dynamic share cards, stronger entity signals, and a better path for future content.

Studio Content System

Problem
Keep writing, playground notes, profile content, and media editable without touching code for every small update.
Constraints
Authenticated admin access, rich text, image uploads, Firestore data, and safe public rendering of user-managed content.
Decisions
Built a focused Studio with separate managers for blogs, playground entries, profile details, uploads, and SEO settings.
Result
A practical publishing workflow that supports iteration, experimentation, and a more active public engineering presence.

Collaboration Intake

Problem
Make it easier for serious collaborators to understand availability, contact expectations, and how to start a useful conversation.
Constraints
Simple public UX, structured contact metadata, availability signals, and no heavy scheduling dependency on the main page.
Decisions
Added a direct contact path, availability context, FAQs, and schema-backed page structure around collaboration intent.
Result
A clearer path from first impression to useful outreach, with less ambiguity around how to reach me and what to send.

Principles

Clarity before code

I try to understand the real user, business, and technical constraints before choosing a stack or pattern.

Taste is part of engineering

Good software should feel considered: fast, legible, accessible, and calm under everyday use.

Ship small, improve honestly

I prefer useful releases, measured feedback, and visible iteration over waiting for a perfect launch.

Leave a trail

Writing, documentation, and case studies make decisions easier to audit and make the next engineer faster.
